Just had a huge anxiety attack and I could really do with a handhold and some talking down. I genuinely felt like I was dying and I've not had an attack as bad as this for quite some time. I forgot how horrifying they were

Just remember OP if you’ve had one before that’s all they are. Distract yourself with something that brings you comfort- I always watch bridgerton with a brew. I get my mind lost in the story. Or calming music.

Currently say on the edge of my bed shaking and it feels like my heart is just shaking and I feel sick to my stomach and I'm trying desperately to be calm and control my breathing but I just can't get enough focus.

Try an ice pack on the back of your neck.

5 things - list them..something you can touch, see, hear etc

Sniff something you like - perfume etc

OP are you ok now?

I have the opposite of calming I have to move and march and do jumping jacks and pace and run.

I need to run off the adrenaline rush. If I sat still with a cuppa I'd feel like I was going to explode.

Any clue what happed , any triggers you can see?

Fingers cross you've got to sleep, as they are exhausting.

I'm feeling much better, still s touch anxious and terrified to go to sleep as I've convinced myself I'll die in my sleep from all the strain I felt on my heart! No particular triggers it just came out of nowhere and started gradually with racing heart shaking and the just turned full on. I don't think I'll get much sleepy tonight though I'm feeling better than I was , thank you .

Do you have any anti histamines in the house? If you do take one or two if low does.

Thats going to take the edge off a bit for you and perfectly safe.
