Mandatory reconsideration assessor

I had a phone call from the mandatory reconsideration decision maker and she told me over the phone I needed to make a new claim with a new condition so she basically told me that the id been turned down but apparently they aren't meant to do that, she didn't even mention I could take it to a tribunal.
I haven't received the decision yet but it has caused me to have sleepless nights and when I'm under stress then I am bed ridden and can't function just wanted to vent here.
The whole process is just so wrong.
It makes me so mad I've been dismissed and left to rot by some woman that hasn't even seen me.
I'm so fed up with life.

I would advise you to seek advice from Citizens Advice or similar advice agency once you receive the decision letter. It is also helpful to ask for a copy of the Health Professional's Report which you should receive within 7-10 days. You can call PIP to request this. Have you developed a new condition since you made the original PIP claim? If so you may want to appeal the PIP decision and make a new claim so that the impact of the new condition can be taken into account.
