Help! How do you deal with the sense of Doom?

Okay, so my mental health is crap. I have unruly health anxiety that was sparked by a few serious but benign conditions and some family events. I have also been feeling wiped out and completely exhausted with various lingering pains for 2,5 years. Saw lots of doctors, lots of scans etc (and some upcoming new concerns about to be investigated) but the only two diagnoses i have so far are adenomyosis (hysteroscopy results pending) and hypermobility.

I have a very wanted and long awaited child, who is a 2 year old bundle of energy and I cant shake off this feeling of doom that I will end up with cancer of some sort soon. I dont smoke but i had 2 years of social smoking dyring weekends and a few years of 1-2 glasses of wine after work. But I never exercised and for about 20 years (Since i was 16) my diet had been appalling. I was eating healthy food too but on top of it i would have lots of sugar (many chocolates, haribos, cola and fizzy drinks, crisps, lots of ultraprocessed foods) every every day.

I am determined to turn this around but wondered if anyone has tips on how to squish this fear that i have ruined my body and that i am doomed for cancer?

I do have CBT coming up soon (yay!) after a 6 month wait so hope to make strides in there.

To all fellow health anxiety sufferers, gosh, it is hard thing to deal with isnt it? Love to all xx
