DS with anxiety and reliance on GF

My DS left uni at Christmas (first year). He was having panic attacks 3 or 4 times a week by the end and it turns out he was self harming. He is safe at home now and we are finding our way. Initial talks with GP have come back with a diagnosis of anxiety and depression. However he has a GF and they have not spent a night apart since before xmas. They seem very reliant on each other. I gather she has her own issues around anxiety as well. We have laid out days she cant stay at ours based on our routines and work but he'll just go to her house on those days. I feel for his recovery and MH (hers too) they need to be apart some of the time. Its proving difficult for him to get into any kind of routine with all the coming and going. He is starting counselling next week and is trying to find work. How best approach this given they are both adults and her parents don't seem that bothered by it. Or should I just leave it alone as long as he is looking at other strategies to help himself get well. We have suggested to him that they both spend some days and nights in their own houses but I am met with excuses around their anxieties and not sleeping when apart. They only started seeing each other since August (a few weeks before he went to un). GF is lovely and we have no other issues with her at all just a concern its all a bit much.
