Evening everyone!

I need to talk about this because if I don't kind of take this light hearted I am going to go back down a very dark path.

I am like obsessed I am going to be so poorly ....

Before Christmas needed a wisdom tooth out as I was catching my cheek- my brain tells me that it will get infected and il be so poorly in hospital - I've had the tooth out and all well.

I've had my other wisdom tooth out at the other side - slight infection so need antibiotics, had a reaction so changed to metronizonal taken one tonight at 5pm- I'm itchy, now I'm thinking I'm going to have a huge reaction??

These are just recent things but in reality this is me all the time... and it's absolutely draining ....

Please someone talk to me

Prescribed meds, especially in the Uk, are very low risk if taken correctly.
sounds like you have some health anxiety? Some therapy for this would do the world of good I’m sure xx

It really will help I’m sure. Try and remain hopeful 🙏
presume you’ve done some reading up on what might help in the meantime?
treat yourself like a goddess, long baths, read books, meditate, get out in nature, hang out with good people, stick a comedy film on etc etc, look after and nurture yourself, that will go a long way to helping with anxiety of most types I think xx

pop on YouTube and search up meditation for anxiety, you can do anything from 5 mins onwards. Try a few to see which ones you like and don’t get too caught up in how you’re meant to be / feel during the mediation xx

CBT is great for health anxiety, while waiting google the anxiety guy, he's on you tube and does podcasts and audio books.

He's great calming voice and talks you through health anxiety which will get you ready for your therapy.

I'm almost on the other side, my anxiety flared up during peri menopause my HRT helped so much, but I still couldn't get the health out of my mind.

So I booked private therapy and go every two weeks now. And I've gone from being a nervous wreak daily to being a nervous wreak every so often it creeps up on me.

But the obsession has dialled down loads, the body checking, the panic etc

So it's possible to come out the other side and learn how to live.
