Recommendations child psychiatrist in Croydon/Sutton

My son has been diagnosed with depression but GP cannot issue medication without a psychiatrist seeing him. We are having no luck with CAHMs. Any recommendations of psychiatrist for a 16 year old in Croydon/Sutton would be appreciated. Thanks

Is it that there is too long a wait with CAMHS? Is he being provided with talking therapies of any sort? A lot of psychiatrists have practices in the Priory hospitals, you could ring and ask for names of the child psychiatrists locally to you. Your GP might have some names for you although where I am based there is a huge shortage in the NHS and private sector.
