Talk to me about your experiences!!!
I'm drained and tired and I can't escape this :( I feel like I'm going to die everyday from something, constantly checking my body for something and I just can't take it :(
Tell me I'm not alone! I need to hear people's experiences to know what im feeling is ok

Why don't you get some help? See your GP, get some therapy, practice mindfulness etc?

You're not alone. But it's also not ok.

I have ocd and health anxiety and it took a very long time to get a grasp of it. Speak to your GP about therapy and medication.

Medication is your best bet. It's the only thing that works for me

One thing about health anxiety for me is that i fear the gp because of it, walking into a gp almost makes me fall to knees with extreme fear. I sweat, my blood pressure goes up, my heart pounds I feel sick. And for that I try to avoid it. And so I wish I could talk to my gp but it's pushing myself to go

You can talk to your GP on the phone initially. The problem is that sometimes anxiety is actually caused by something physical so blood tests would be a good idea.

CBT in conjunction with exposure therapy is the way forward for phobias and health anxiety. You can find therapists at BACP.

Mindfulness can be practiced at home, you can do an online course and use meditation apps.

Exercise is great for anxiety, a good diet and supplements such as magnesium. You can find yoga courses on YouTube.

Hi, I’m going thru something similar. I spend months not going to the GP and wondering about things going on and then I am at the doctors none stop. Ive been around 8 times in the past 3 weeks. I’ve been to a&e over the weekend and just been to the walk in this evening. Im going back to the doctors in the morning too.
they say dont google your symptoms but what else are you supposed to do? If it’s something i can treat at home then id rather do that than go into the doctors but most of the time it comes up with something sinister and then my mind goes wild.

I dont know what the answer is unfortunately
