My husband says I’m heading for hospital again. I’m coming off a medication. My psychiatrist knows. Thing is, I just want to go back to normality. Back to the old days. And I tried to get support all week but nobody called me back. And now it’s the weekend.

Your husband thinks you'll end up back in hospital again because you've decided to stop taking your meds? Why are you not taking them?

What kind of advice do you feel you need from people on MN?

I’m not sure. I think writing things down helps me.
I guess I’m confused because I feel good and his perception of me is opposite.

Alot of posters have been saying the same thing to you for the last few days on your other thread about mania.
You do seem to be set on the path of self destruction which is really sad.

Is your psychiatrist in support of you stopping your medication?

mynameiscalypso · 25/01/2025 00:29

I always look out for your posts because you can be such a brilliant and helpful posters. But, like others, I have seen similar posts from you in the past when you're becoming unwell. I would urge you not to reduce your medication any further.

Yes my psychiatrist thinks medication isn’t the way forward, therapy is in his opinion.
