Hi. DPs brother is in a terrible state. I’m trying not to be too outing but his wife is divorcing him and selling the house. He’ll get a payout but it won’t be enough for him to buy anyway. They have 2 dc who will live with the wife.
This is all largely self inflicted and only really has himself to blame. Nevertheless, dp is worried about his mental state - he’s drinking excessively, crying alot. Calling dp begging for help. But how can he help? We can’t give him money or accommodation. Dp is worried he might commit suicide.
Its all a terrible mess. What do we do?
