Does missing three days of antidepressants cause this?

My spouse has missed a dose three days in a row and is being absolutely vile to me. Is this a normal effect of sudden withdrawal? Return of symptoms in a bad way?

I feel ill if I miss just one dose, after 3 days I would feel really not well and that might make me snappish... but not vile. Are they usually like this with you if not medicated?

Yeah that will be it. Don’t take it personally.

Yes. He should keep up medication.

If I miss a couple of days I get brain zaps, more than that I feel dreadful and desperate and teary.IDK if different meds have different withdrawal symptoms, mine are taken for PTSD. I don't deliberately miss them just absent mindedness sometimes

OK thank you. The last time this behaviour occurred I discovered my spouse had stopped their medication a week beforehand due to a mix up with the GP. It isn't typical behaviour when consistently taking the medication no.

Oh yeah. Run out of meds and the mood swings are epic. I nearly lost my job when I stopped my antidepressants too quickly.
