I’ve had one for over a year now. It has been helpful to improve mood but as it is still not widely known I would recommend joining the facebook user group which has over 5,000 members where you can ask any questions you have to other users and will probably be much more helpful than posting on here. You do get headsets coming up for sale 2nd hand on there. The majority of people on the group are based in the UK

Neuroscience Headset for depression

Thank you. I have ordered one. I'm in a desperate state. If this doesn't help I'll ask for ECT. Obviously it's unwise to invest so much hope in this device but as I say I'm in an extremely dark place and I cannot take much more.

Hey OP, I've had ECT done. Unfortunately it didn't work for me, it's mainly used for depression i think. I have severe anxiety, ocd and depression. I've heard good things about the flow headset too. I'm struggling also and just wanted to send a hand hold out to you, it's tough times and we are truly surviving something that we shouldn't need to xx

It does seem to work for a lot of people and remarkably well for some. I have found the Facebook group a really supportive community and I post on there quite regularly. I really hope it helps you and the chances are it will have some positive impact. The app does use some exercises that you can do while using the headset but a lot of people use that time to read, meditate or do something else relaxing. The flow company are also helpful and will respond to queries if you email them. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

No experience with this but have also seen it advertised and wondered. I've had a lot of ECT and it's worked really well but I need to stay well once it stops...

I’ve come across a few Flow users who have previously had ECT, you can trial it free for 30 days , many people do report an improvement within that time but it can take longer.

It didn’t work for me, you can rent it for £79.99 per month to see if it helps before purchasing one. Good luck 🤞

I bought mine weeks ago but still not used it. I read someone say it only really works for severe depression. I will try and start using it soon and report back.

@SB1967 people with all sorts of histories of depression use flow it is not just used in severe depression, I have seen a number of people on the Facebook group do exactly like you have done buy the headset then leave it sitting in it’s box for a while, I was actually the complete opposite and used it that first day. Try and have a go and do something relaxing during the session
