Is there any undiagnosed ADHD mums here?
Looking for some help, I feel very chaotic all the time and I don't know where I am, try but struggle to keep on top of tasks/household jobs aswel as also not keeping on top of jobs the kids have.
Iv tried so many lists but struggling to find something that works well for me.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I have no advice as I am in the same boat. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in the struggle. Hopefully someone wise who has had success will be along shortly.

Have you tried to get a diagnosis? Once you're officially diagnosed, a lot more support is available and you can try medications

I am currently on the waiting list to be diagnosed but it's a 2 year wait. So just wanting some help for the mean time to help give me that balance. It's ever since covid iv struggled.

Hello - I'm starting to realise how I may have ADHD too. I am visiting my GP this week as I need something to help. I cannot sleep, I pick my skin. Being a parent has only made it all worse!

I’m diagnosed but I unmedicated as I have struggled with the side effects. There’s a lot that you can do aside from medication.

Learning about adhd was like getting an owner’s manual for my brain. The key is to stop trying to operate on neurotypical settings.

One problem we have is that we tend to fixate on a significant upcoming event, and go into “waiting mode”, and that could be happening to an extent with your diagnosis - you might be mentally postponing improving/coping/thriving until after that’s done.

Do you want to share a bit of how you’re struggling, and we could make some suggestions?
