Don't want to be a Mental Health Nurse anymore.

Hi

I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2017 and have worked in many different types of settings. I have worked in acute admissions, dementia, IPCU, rehab and addictions. I currently work within a community setting and I am off work sick at present due to stress and anxiety. I dread going back as a registered nurse and I have been seriously thinking about giving up my registration as I have felt like this for the last few years. I even think I want away from mental health and I'm thinking about working as a band 3. I wondered if anyone has quit being a nurse and worked as a band 3 instead? I am also contemplating whether to just work on the staff bank as a band 3 or would I be better to get a permanent position?
Thanks

I’d try reposting this in Work.
