Is 10mg citalopram too much to start on

I have some left from a couple of years ago - still in date

I'm considering restarting. I reckon I've 3 months worth.

Is that too high a dose to start straight on? I can't remember my dose last time they worked.

Will go back to the gp obvs but all a bit chaotic atm and my last go appointment about something else wasn't very sympathetic or understanding at all has put me off

10mg is the usual starting dose for anxiety.

20mg is usual starting dose for depression though a lot of GPs start people on 10mg and increase gradually to lessen side effects.

I hadn't noticed the pharmacy sticker that said 3 x 10mg per day as the dosage.

I need to find out what the dose was that worked for me previously..

Pretty sure 10mg once a day is the minimum dose
