Does anyone know about SAMH

I thought it was a free charity. I was referred by my social worker. A worker from SAMH came out and told me that after a period of time they would need to do a financial assessment to see if I could afford to pay for the service. A friend was shocked and told me it was a free charity and used to be really good and they sound like they were trying to scam me or something

If you Google samh costs it seems like you do have to pay, is there any other group that might help you.

Where does it say it costs money? I thought it was free

Wowsers. It was free when I worked there.

Admittedly over twenty years ago.

Sorry but can't link. I googled samh costs, first page says £22.26 per hour for visiting support, and from £300 for workshops. Someone else might be able to link.
