Is there a hand to hold
So after having to walk out of a long-standing job due to gaslighting new employer. Starting a new job and facing huge financial concerns over husbands job I have had a breakdown.
plus dealing with youngest off to uni.
The high level of anxiety is 24/7 which has gone on for so long.
Ended up in GP and mental health team involvement. Prescribed fluoxetine which on day 6 I feel worse.
I’ve not slept for so long. I’m so worried over everything.

Hi @toothfairy26,

Cute name. Sorry to hear about your struggles. Are you still at the new job? How is that going?

Are you having some talking therapy? I think that might really help with so much stress.

I’ve been referred for it. Trying to keep going in this job but now had to take time off.
I can’t see any let up of it til January and that’s a way to keep going.
The ongoing anxiety is not letting up.
It’s crippling me. My family are worried and even that can’t stop this state.

January will come round really quickly. What are the things causing you so much anxiety and stress?

I think you just need to tackle one problem at a time and focus on the most important stuff.
