Thinking about it all day these days

Have you seen your GP? I suffer with awful intrusive thoughts around violence and starting the antidepressant Sertraline has really helped. Is this something you'd consider trying?

Sorry to read this op. Are you under a crisis team? x

EvvyLannis · 06/11/2024 04:09

The Samaritans are on 116123 or you can chat online. Maybe they can help you by listening?
I hope you can stay with us OP.

A first step would be to call Samaritans - they will understand and you can talk openly. They have text/email options if you prefer.

Also speak either to your GP (if not yet under medical care) or your crisis team (if already under medical care).

These thoughts must be hard to have? Speaking to someone can help so much.

SparklyLimeJoker · 06/11/2024 04:10

Sorry you're going through this.

Would you consider giving the Samaritans a call - 116 123 and then when your GP is open giving them a ring to discuss what's going on for you?

Elleherd · 06/11/2024 04:57

As others have said, talk to someone, anyone.
Whatever is going on it isn't something you should be going through alone.
Look after yourself, you matter more than you may know.

This is the very worst time of night and it feels dark in all ways.

Please call the Samaritans now and perhaps in the morning call the GP for an appointment?

There is help available and you won’t always feel like this. ❤️

Sorry, fell asleep eventually after hours of being awake. Thank you everyone for your replies, I really appreciate it and it makes me feel a bit less alone.

Please reach out to the Samaritans, SHOUT,
your gp or present yourself to A&E if your thoughts continue.
Even when you think you’re alone, you’re not alone 💐
