Hi mums,

I am in need of some advise or just someone who maybe has had any type of the same experience as I am totally lost!

Sorry in advance for such a long post but it is a little complicated.

Since I gave birth 2 years ago I have been off sick with pretty bad anxiety and OCD, I have previously had PTSD when I was young but I had EMDR treatment for over a year and it helped me dramatically! Then suddenly after a traumatic birth I got such bad anxiety and OCD.
I can’t do anything I used to do, I can’t swim, run, go to the gym, I find so many things anxiety provoking.
Anyway, it has gone up and down especially in stressful periods but it was getting somewhat better and then a few weeks ago I noticed myself getting more tense and I was quite sensitive to noise, the next day it felt like my head was shaking and I couldn’t stand any noises, it was like they are 100 times louder, even running a tap!
I felt totally frozen because of it, I’ve been in bed for days on and off trying to calm my anxiety but I get scared what it can be…
I get so frozen that I can’t barely take care of my beautiful little girl and that just makes me feel more useless.
My therapist says it can be trauma making me so sensitive but the headaches are really bad at times so of course I worry, she also is now suggesting anti anxiety medication, Sertraline but I’m so scared of it, I just feel totally lost what to do or what to think.
I currently have no family or friends around because we had to move due to my partners new job so it is very isolating.

Sorry again for the long post, just wondering if anyone had had anything similar or any advice? ❤️

All the best to you mamas ❤️
