Book to explain OCD to DH

Hi, I really need help with this. Adult DS has ASD, Learning Difficulties and now OCD. He lives with us at home. The OCD developed during COVID and has stayed ever since. DS and I get along well and I try to help him with his OCD using gentle humour and kindness. This approach seems to work quite well.

Unfortunately DH simply doesn’t understand OCD at all. He makes me angry because he won’t adapt his behaviour to help DS and sometimes uses sarcasm, which in my view is very unhelpful.

This really upsets me because DH has so many good qualities and is disabled and housebound himself. He does praise DS frequently for the help that he gives us, but seems to have a blindspot about OCD.

So, please don’t tell me to LTB! But instead could you point me towards books that could clearly explain OCD to him. Websites won’t be useful as he is a complete technophobe! Even if books don’t work, they would at least give me some more information that would help me to explain things and also to handle DS in better ways.

TIA
