Anyone take quietapine?

I was prescribed quietapine a while ago but haven't actually taken it yet. I was diagnosed with bpd, but actually believe I have ADHD. I struggle to switch off at night to sleep, I think that's why they prescribed it. I also have fibromyalgia and take amitriptyline for that, 25mg. I'm terrified of side effects and of putting on more weight - already size 16, all gained whilst on antidepressants.

Is anyone taking quietapine and how does it affect you?

Not personally but my mother was prescribed it. She takes 50mg at dinnertime and it seems to calm her and help her sleep.

Tbh it made me feel like a drugged zombie all day and I took it at night! Plus weight gain. But if you can't sleep it wi knock you out

I took this for a year for OCD and difficulty sleeping and it helped with the sleep. However, waking up the next day was very difficult and I felt like a zombie for the first few hours. I didn't experience any weight gain with it though.

Thanks for the replies. I can't cope with feeling like a zombie!

I think your best bet is to give it a go and see how it makes you feel, no harm in tying, The sleepy side effect does go away with time
