Did hypnotherapy work for you?

I really would like to know if this was worth the investment for you.

I have a debilitating fear of death ever since my BIL died this year. It's now everyday I am thinking and fearing of dying. It's ruining my life.

I've always thought hypnotherapy is airy fairy and just a load of rubbish but apparently it's helpful with phobias and fears...

Any positive outcomes? Thank you.

As a hypnotist my view is obviously going to be biased but I can confirm that it can be very effective with phobias and fears. Depending on which study you read approx.10-20% of people don't respond to hypnosis so make sure you are offered a free/no obligation consultation to make sure that it will work for you before you decide on whether to go ahead. Look for personal reviews and don't be afraid to 'shop around' to find the right therapist for you. Good luck!

Positive outcome here! I went for this in the summer to help me with anxiety (lots of different fears mainly around my health and leaving my children).
The first session was a lot of talking, thinking about what I wanted to achieve, visualisation etc. I was very apprehensive and didn't 'go under' as they say. By session two, I felt more relaxed and it was like an out of body experience - sounds very cliche but it was!
The results have enabled me to use some strategies daily or when I'm in stressful situations but for me, it was really worth it.
