Do you have to be diagnosed with ADHD in order to be prescribed Strattera?

It is unlikely that a doctor will prescribe without a diagnosis, and I would be cautious of one who would. In most areas prescribing by GP would usually be following a diagnosis and recommendation from a specialist.Also Stattera is not usually the first line choice.
I would recommend you speak to your GP if you haven’t already. Even if they refer you for diagnosis there may be a waiting list.

@Newwindows thank you, I was diagnosed as a child by CAMHS and recently got my paper work, a psychiatrist recommended I took medication for it at the time but my family "decided to try fish oil" instead 🙄 that didn't work.

I actually was unaware of my ADHD diagnosis until I recently got my paperwork.
