Coming off citalopram

I'm only on 10mg so barely therapeutic but I am thinking of coming off it and trying more with exercise instead.

The main reason is that I still feel tired and unmotivated. The stressful situation I was in is coming to an end too.

Should I wait until I'm in the swing of an exercise routine before I taper off?

Has anyone does this and found they were okay?

My husband came off citalopram a few years ago. He came of them incredibly slowly - using a pill cutter to shave bits off. He doesn’t regret it, although it took a while to feel himself again. He would advise you to do it -
just take your time.
