Need to offload! I’m 58 single female living alone. All I seem to do is work and sleep. I’m lucky if I get 2 days off a week. I work in the community and 15 hour shifts aren’t uncommon. I’m tired so tired. On my days off I’m fit for nothing. Is this it now?! No pension to look forward to - I’ve changed jobs three times this year as I can’t settle. Already on HRT. Is this just me feeling this way?!

I'd think it is related to menopause as I've never known a tiredness like it. I just need to lie down at weekends after working all week.

Have you been to the doctor?

Kitty66 · 05/10/2024 23:40

yep the tiredness is overwhelming for sure, it’s not something I want to have to put up with for the rest of my life, but I can’t afford to work less hours. I think I’d like to be a kept woman right about now but I’m too tired to go and find somebody to keep me 🤣🤣

Same here. Single income household. It's so impossibly hard to make ends meet.

It's not just you Kitty. I'm also single and live alone wondering if this it. Barely anything in the pension pot.

I knew a man in this position. He went to live in Thailand.
