I'm 25 years old and just had my second baby around ovulation my health anxiety increases and I dig with my fingertips looking for lumps in boobs and always seem to find one their always movable and I just get in such a panic am I checking right should I have to dig to find a lump that hard I cannot stop and yes I have been to the doctors and took every step to try and make my anxiety better but it just won't go away I spend every evening worrying
Also 8 days till
My next period and think I'm just finished ovulating
I just keep thinking it's a hard pebble in the left and the right upper bit at the top of boob just by the armpit it feels like a stone if I did really hard to find it and even when I check with a flat parm I somebete trick myself into doing it with my fingertips and then thinking it's their I feel like I'm losing it

Are you on any medication? It sounds like your health anxiety is really spiralling. Have you had any therapy?

I am on medication but it isn't seeming to work anymore it can get really intense when I'm ovulating it's awful ... do you have an advice on the lumpy boob situation as I am a nervous wreck

do you have a lump and have you checked it out

My suggestion if you have lumps is to see the GP. They will be able to tell you if they are anything to worry about.

Lovie, you've posted about this several times week. You really need to talk to your health visitor or doctor about this. No one online can diagnose you - it needs to be in person.

Hi OP,

I am a Psychotherapist and this definitely sounds like health anxiety getting worse. You could massively benefit from CBT as long as GP confirms nothing is wrong. Health anxiety can be so debilitating so please consider CBT and refer yourself to your local wellbeing team.

As a side note, I also get a lumpy peddle type lump in my boob at certain times of the month. It comes and goes. It's fatty tissue and due to hormonal changes. Normally nothing to worry about at all. If GP says no worries, please have CBT.
