Update on psychosis from previous posts

I took the leap and made a gp appointment today. Showed them what iv put on here.
They've done a urgent referral to the mental health team and specifically the psychosis team. I should expect a phone call today.
I'm absolutely terrified.

Well done. Try not to be scared. I’ve had psychosis and people are generally very kind.

You’ve done exactly the right thing. These are professionals who only want you to be well and safe.

You'll be referred to EIP and given fantastic support. It's for 3yrs and then you get passed to the community mental health team.

Thank u all. Supposed to of phoned yesterday but never did.. would the mental health team, psychosis team.. mental health assessment... would they phone on a weekend? Or would I have to wait until Monday onwards?

If you're suffering from psychosis it's an emergency. I woul call NHS Direct option 2 and they will help you on what to do next. Phone them now OP.
