Feeling agitated on sertraline and struggling to sleep

I have already asked so many questions on this exact topic but reassurance is how I cope to get through.
This is only my second day of taking sertraline, luckily no panic attack or sudden side effects like yesterdays episode of diarrhoea, dizziness and feeling really spaced out, I do however feel very agitated and that I will really struggle to sleep tonight. I also feel a little anxious still and also a bit like I’m going to go crazy. Is this normal to feel?

Yes very normal it was a very problematic medication for me.

I have had to start it a few times and it is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I go from feeling bad to x10 times worse. Shaking, jaw clenched, a jittery anxious wreck. This lasts a full week and after one week it lessens. Weeks two is bad but not nearly as bad and by week 3 I’m starting to feel better than I did before I started.

it is hard to start but my GP prescribed zopiclone for one week and x3 2 mg diazepam daily when necessary which 100% got me through

@Thunderpants88 I have decided to not go ahead with it and will stop taking them :( I feel like I am going insane, like I need to be out in a psychiatric ward. I feel cold but I'm clammy, itchy, really anxious, diarrhoea, dry mouth, irritated, angry, scared... the list is endless. Did you feel like this as well? It's quite hard to explain. I honestly thought last night I was going to die (I also suffer with panic disorder) so it was most definitely heightened last night. I have a 2 year old so I can't go on like this :(
