CAT therapy Vs EMDR

I am shelling out for private therapy to help with recurring depression, anxiety, OCD around decisions and relationships. Having a particularly crippling bout at the moment. I don't have PTSD but therapist said EMDR also worked for these. Basically because I am in a terrible state this decision is now killing me! CAT therapy makes a lot of sense to me but but I'm worried I over analyse anyway and it will just encourage that. I've done a lot of therapy years ago and I know why I am the way I am, but I can't change. If you've had either, can you let me know your experiences? Thank you. They are both over £100 and hour so while my indecision brain wants to try both, that would bankrupt me!!!

If you believe you can't change why are you pursing therapy? Not wishing to be smart but it's not a great start to any potential therapeutic relationship.

I want to change. I am suicidal and want to change.

OK, understood. Do you have the option to to have a free session/introductory chat for both options so you can get a sense of which would be better and also to see how you gel with the therapists?
