for 45 years my dad has been ill, when I was 14, living with him and my 13 year old brother, no mum, we found out he had a tumour they operated and gave him 10years, that was 1989, he’s still here, but gravely ill, it took a lot to convince him that we need help, we promised him he will die at home, lots of carers, nurses etc involved now, not like he was happy about it, it’s end of life, we all know it, me and my brother are many miles from him but we there ever single day, it’s a cruel waiting game, I’m on sertraline for menopause for last 12 months, but it’s doing nothing, I’m wet through every night, and the stress of my dad I’ve kind of been a zombie for 4 weeks, even though we expecting what’s gona come I don’t know how I’m gona handle it. We’ve looked after him for years, we don’t want him to go but we know it’s going to be a relief, I battled with nurses and help, but they say we need help but not getting the help for me and my brother mentally, everyone says look after ourselves but we can’t. Think I need to go doctors when I get time.
