Coming off Sertraline - anger and rage

I've been on 200mg of Sertraline for a year, started on 50mg in 2021 then went up gradually as didn't feel they were doing anything.

Although I didnt feel "zen" like I'd hoped, I wanted to come off them as don't think they're for me and then I realised what makes me anxious and down is circumstantial so I've been referred to psychology on a programme that should help.

However, I'm now tapering down the dosage as per my GP and I've only reduced 100mg so far and I feel like I get so angry so easily.

It scares me how angry and raging I was about something this morning.

Has anyone had experience of this? Should I go back up again, I've googled it and rage can be a side effect

My partner was a nasty bastard when he came off his Sertraline and he was only on 100mg. He was so irritable and bad tempered. Thankfully he’s back on it now.

Oh no. I'm hoping not to go back on it 😬

Sorry, that wasn’t much help! Maybe he would have got over it if he had persevered. Hope you get some more helpful posts from
others 😧
