Just reaching out as for the past few weeks I've been feeling so low and burnt out. I have just had two weeks off work which I was hoping would help refresh me but I still feel tired and not sleeping.

Work has been tough. Fitness has been my outlet for stress relief and up until June I was in the best shape of my life. I then changed running shoes after my last ones literally fell apart. Running shop recommend new shoes based on gaint analysis.

Almost straight away foot pain and ankle pain. I tried to carry on and bed the shoes in but my feet feel worse with pins and needles keeping me awake sometimes.

This is being going on for a month and obviously no point changing shoes until my feet are better while feels like it will never happen.

I'm now loosing that hard fort fitness and feel isolated no running club. Can't exercise. Feeling so down and can't be bothered.

Dreading work next week as I just don't feel refreshed.

Sorry for the message just looking for some friendly advice.

Single dad and feeling very isolated.

I have weird feet and feel sorry for you.

Sketchers have been a life line for me. Like walking on cushions,

Thought I saw Kamala walking on them.... There's an S logo on them.

No, I don't work for them.

I’m sorry. Some years ago I was in a similar position, was in loads of pain running and kept going as I was so addicted to it. Turned out I’d ruptured a tendon and also fractured my fibula, I’ve had surgeries and sadly have never been able to get back into running. I was devastated.

my advice would be find a good sports physio, one with an interest in injury rehab and find out what the problem is. You could seriously shorten recovery time and prevent future injury.

have you got a bike? Even an old crappy one….. you could still get some exercise in and hopefully help keep your fitness up. I’ve swapped my running addiction for cycling addiction. Sadly it’s vastly more expensive 😁
