Hello I would like some tips on building confidence and self esteem.

Do stuff that scares you! Be it smiling at a stranger, going for a run, chatting to someone in a shop. It doesn’t matter. You can talk about it loads but nothing quite beats just going for it and then realising the world didn’t swallow you up.

Take proper lessons in something. Gain a skill and choose a good 121 coach to support you.

It doesn't matter what, but know that you do something competently.

Since I turned 40 (20 years ago), I have learned to shoot clays, to run 10k, I've gained a brown/white belt in karate and I've learned to bake bread, and make preserves.

I enjoy all of them and they give me confidence.
