Low dose Quetiatine side effects

Just wondering if anyone has experience of taking low dose quetiapine (100mg or less) in combination with an antidepressant for depression?

I’m really worried about starting Quetiapine because of the potential weight gain and the likelihood of insomnia after coming off it.

Not sure if these effects are likely at a lowish dose of 100mg though so I’d be interested in others experiences. Thanks.

I didn’t suffer any weight gain but, even with reverse titration, the sleeplessness coming off it was awful.

If you don’t mind me asking, what dose were you on, did it help, how long were you on it for and how long did the insomnia last when you came off? Thanks.

I've been taking 25mg-50mg a night for a couple of years, to treat anxiety/ insomnia. No issues with weight gain, so far as I can tell!

I was on low dose for 9 years. I lost and gained weight on it according to diet - definitely not related to quetiapine.
however, my sleep has been appalling in the 18 months I’ve been off it resulting in weight gain.
