Stop nostalgia and saddness

I would like to get help to handle things “ending” in a better way. Not actually bad/sad stuff, just the usual things of life! I want to be able to celebrate things, my daughter moving on to preschool, and in the future finishing primary and moving to secondary. That kind of stuff. But just the thought of it makes be ball like a baby. It’s embarrassing and means I avoid actually celebrating this kind of thing so am actually missing out, and at some point might really embarrass my kids 😂. Any suggestions on what I can do, or maybe it’s just how I am 😭
