Sertraline

Hi

I have been struggling with my mental health since having my baby 16months ago and my doctor recommended I try Sertraline to help but I know there are side effects which is making me worried to take them.

Did you get side effects and if so, what ones?

Everyone is different and will have different reactions. A lot of the time with this sort of medication it's trial and error, so if you do have any side effects you'll just need to let your doctor know and they will try you on something else.

Some people will and some won’t. It’s trial and error to find what suits you. But if you don’t try it won’t get better.

No side effects. Just got well again.

My only side effects were all stomach related but I have IBS anyway. That settled down after a month or so (not every day was bad). It's a slow process so don't expect miracles, I made the mistake of thinking it was an overnight fix xx
