I’m an 18 year old girl who honestly doesn’t know what to do. I’m autistic and it ruins me socially, and I’m also suffering from really bad anxiety and depression. I still live with my parents, and I’m retaking A-Levels since I had to have a break off education for a year due to severe mental health problems.
My mum doesn’t understand me. She can’t understand what I’m going through. She tries, but she gets mad because she doesn’t understand me. My dad is autistic, but he makes everything worse and never actually manages to help me. His advice is demeaning and he doesn’t really have any intention to actually listen because he thinks everything he says is best at the end of the day.
I feel really alone and sometimes imagine if it would be easier if I just wasn’t here. I was doing really well this year, and now everything seems to be falling apart again. I’m losing hope. I’m sorry if this sounds depressing.
