Debilitating anxiety

44, perimenopausal probably.

I have debilitating anxiety. It's related to some upcoming events. But to the point where I can't function or think clearly at all.

I can't have estrogen HRT, is there something that can help with this? What is propanolol for ?

Help.

I think it's a beta blocker.

Urgh I probably can't take it.

What helps naturally? I need a hit list. I have camomile tea, anti histamines. Are calms good?

Naturally, I'd look at taking vitamin D, iron, magnesium, zinc, and fish oils.

I take promethazine (prescribed) which is basically an antihistamine but I do find it helps calm me and brings anxiety levels down. I have 10mg tablets and take as and when I need it. Helps me sleep well too! xx

What's scaring you about the events? Can you break it down into manageable chunks?
