How to help friend- urgent

Friend is having a MH crisis right now. It's got progressively worse over the last month. Her DH has taken the DC as she is scaring them. Suicidal threats have had police and ambulances involved but because she sounds rational at that point, they haven't done anything more.
Tonight she's asked for help, says she needs Dr's to help her. What can I do to get her this help? Any advice very very welcome.

maybe tell her she needs to call her local crisis team. If other people are getting her help, and then she’s turning them away she really needs to contact them herself. She’s contacting you, but if you get her help and she refuses it, that isn’t fair on you.
maybe suggest she does it for her kids if she can’t do it for herself.

Hi @NaturalBlondeYeahRight , at this time of night if it’s really bad may have to be A&E.

If you can I would go round or give her a phone, encourage her to have a cup of tea or bath and try and relax and breathe. If she can get through tonight then DRs urgent appt in the morning. If she’s got private medical insurance I would use that. Drs will be able to give her the local crisis team number for next time.

Husband taking away the kids is bound to escalate things. Has anything triggered this?
