Adjusting SSRI dose in summer

Hello,
I've been on Sertraline 50mg since Jan 2023 (actually this is second time I've been on it, was also on 2020-2022), and have just started cutting dose to 25mg for the summer in a bit of an experiment with the intention of going back up around October if all goes ok. I did discuss this with gp who said fine, but I just wanted to see if anyone had experience of doing the same and raising dose again for winter months? I always find that my anxiety is much worse during winter (whenever I've had to go on it it's been December/jan time), and although I have generally very positive experience with this medication, I feel it very slightly numbs things a little. I don't at this stage want to try coming off it completely for the summer months, mainly because I've found the side effects of starting very unpleasant for the first few weeks before it gets much better. Whereas I'm hoping they would be much less going from 25-50, and I would be raising dose back up from a good place rather than having to resort to taking them from scratch having lost the plot a bit in the depths of winter. Would love to hear if anyone has some experience of this
