I’ve posted before about my PND and im being treated by perinatal and have been on new ADs for 9 weeks now. I have also decided to go back on the combined pill as I always thought my mood was much more stable when on it. ( not been back on it since I had second child nearly two years ago) pharmacist who prescribed said to take it back to back and it should help with the fluctuating mood swings a period brings.
been back on it for about 10 days now and I’m worried that it’s making my mood especially my anxiety worse! I’ve been so much more anxious the last 3/4 days. So I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this when restarting the pill after a long break? I never felt anxious when I used to take it and was on it for about 15 years!
obviously my PND is causing anxiety so it’s hard to tell but now im worried the pill is making it worse instead of better!
Any thoughts?? Xxx
