Anxiety and tramadol

Has anyone any experience of tramadol for anxiety/ocd?

Would you get it prescribed for that? Would have thought it was only prescribed for acute pain (and then short term).

I have co-codomol for pain, but I do think it helps the anxiety around it as well though.

@Orangesandlemons77 I assumed the same but it's also used for anxiety and depression. I think we just accept what our Dr's tell us and I'm starting to research what's actually most effective x

Definitely that not trazadone?

I've never heard of tramadol for anxiety. I have it prescribed for extra strong pain relief but I've never been told to take it for anxiety

@Ridingthegravytrain no it was on a website that I can't find now to pin. I thought it was odd then checked reviews and loads of folk mainly in the US have had success with it x
