Sertraline increased - when will I feel better?

Just that really. I have a 3 year old and a newborn. Just increased my sertraline from 50 to 100 mg two weeks ago. I have experienced heightened anxiety which I am aware is normal but it doesn’t seem to really be easing. I’m aware my circumstances are naturally anxiety provoking at the moment so possibly this doesn’t help.

Make sure that those around you, close family and maybe a friend or two, are aware of your situation so that they can offer some support. If you could get a chance to rest once or twice a day, even for 20minutes, this will help your body to get used to the medication. You're doing the right thing for you and for your family. It will get so much better X

Hi hang in there with your upped dose, it will take 2/4 weeks to level out, best thing I did was note down ur little moments of peace then u will notices they will get more and more over them weeks ( even if 5 mins a day or one in the morning then one in the afternoon)
when u feel crap just remind yourself it’s the medicine working in ur brain and u will get better
take care
