This is really aimed at anyone out there suffering with debilitating panic attacks anxiety disorders etc.

I collected my 2nd prescription yesterday for propranolol the first few weeks where good and I was relieved to have the panic attacks stop! But I still didn’t feel my old self.

However this past week or so I have had 90% happy days right back to my old self feeling and it feels amazing I’m back to my favourite hobbies cooking I’m not wasting loads of money on getting the kids takeaways because I was too drained etc.

I have no social anxiety anymore appointments meetings etc I don’t even think about it where as before I’d be feeling a constant dread! Im able to clean the house with ease again rather than constantly stopping and starting!

I don’t think twice about where I’ve gotta be where I’ve gotta go I honestly feel free again! I enjoy a coffee again I enjoy a glass of wine if I fancy it again.

So to anyone who is struggling and worried about taking meds etc DON’T be I wasted soo much time!

Your all soo strong on here and I’ve come on here when I honestly didn’t know what the f to do with myself with some fantastic advice, scrolling for hours on end to see if I’d EVER get better!

Thank you all!! I hope you have a lovely Easter 🐥🫶🏽💖🥰

That’s amazing 😊 May I ask how many you take in a day/the dosage?

Definitely can’t believe the difference now, I just thought I’d put a positive post as I see a lot of “I’ve got the meds but I’m scared to take the meds” posts.

My thing was it got soo severe I had absolutely no choice but to take the meds! Literally the only way was up there where no cons for me, I’m really quite funny about medication too I won’t even take a paracetamol unless it’s really needed!

It really is 40mg in the morning I’m allowed 80mg a day but I really don’t need it my panic attacks 95% of the time would manifest in the morning leaving me on edge and panicky all day, once the morning panic attacks where stopped the rest really sorted itself out!

Yeah it is those initial first weeks I was glad to just be rid on panic attacks even if I had no energy but now they’ve settled in my system alll my energy is back!! Can’t believe I feel normal again after only 29 days! When people post saying it’ll take a few weeks to kick in properly that is soo true! ☺️ I mean the relief is instant tbh but for you to feel “normal” I’d say yeah just wait a while and you’ll see!
