Clinical psychologist

Where would I look to get a private clinical psychologist for am assessment?

Hi @susiemamma quite a few psychologists I know have their details on the 'Psychology Today' website. If you put in your postcode it will bring up a list of therapists in that area with details of their profession eg clin psych, counsellor etc. Make sure they're HCPC registered as that's the professions regulatory body and they need to be registered with them to practice. The British Psychological Society also has a register you could look through but make sure its definitely a clin psych you get as being a chartered psychologist doesn't mean that they're clinically trained.
