Sertraline headaches

I posted a couple of days ago about coming off sertraline due to the side effects. My worst one has been the headache. Can anyone share their experience of headaches on sertraline please? I'm so worried it's actually something else, the pain is so bad and constant. I'm struggling to cope now. I've spoken to GP twice in 4 days without much help.

I had horrible brain jolts when coming off it, sounds weird but it was like my brain was bashing in to my skull. Lasted a week or 2.
Are you coming off cold turkey (which I did and was silly) or reducing your dose?

Thanks for replying. I only took 25mg for 7 days, the headache was horrendous. It's everywhere, forehead mostly left side, top of head again mostly left side and back, you guessed it left side. So I've completely come off them the last two days but the headache is no easier. I'm really struggling to get on with my day.
