Hi all I've ran out of my tablets, last taken 100mg on Friday, I've been on it about 10 years, so worried the dizziness and extreme panic is going to hit me before I can get a new prescription, going to go to the chemist Tomo to get a supply but I need to be able to function tomorrow in work, any suggestions? Has anyone coped with this?

you should be ok for just a day but get to a pharmacy asap and get an emergency prescription - any pharmacy, doesnt have to be your normal one. They should be able to give you enough to tide you over until your doctor’s prescription arrives

I've run out before and it was about three days before the withdrawal kicked in.

I've done cold turkey on sertraline twice and it's not fun, but it's manageable. Do you need to drive? I don't think I would have been able to because of the dizziness. Other than that, just take it as easy as you can and stay hydrated while you get a new prescription (I was a sweaty mess). Do you have anything you can take to help with agitation like diazepam?

Only thing you can do is get to a pharmacy asap tomorrow morning and ask for an emergency prescription and take your tablet as soon as you get it.

There really isn't any other way to help the symptoms I don't think. You're going to feel crap until you get your tablets.
