Losing faith I'll get over anxiety

Hello all,

Just a bit of a rant that I feel I need to put down in writing.

I've been on Sertraline, Fluoxetine and now Mirtazipine for my chronic generalised anxiety.

I've also been in CBT therapy in the past, and seeing a therapist just now.

Yet the other week I had a really bad panic attack on the bus. Yesterday I had one in work.

I'm 31, I've been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks since I was about 12/13. If you'd asked young me then, I'd have assumed I'd be much better by this age. Yet here I am, still none the wiser.

I'm going to go to the GP next week again, but I feel sceptical about any other drug helping me. I think the next one they'll want to try it Citalopram.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm feeling really low about the future just now 🥲
