How to switch from evening to morning?

I'm taking 50mg sertraline, which I feel is working (I'm 4 weeks in). However, I'm currently taking it in the evening, and I think it's giving me a bit of insomnia! How do I go about switching to taking it in the morning? I don't want to end up with side effects if possible 😬 TIA

I'd move your evening dose forward a few hours tomorrow and then keep moving it forward a few hours for the next day or so until you're taking it in the morning.

What about splitting it in half. Take half at night and half in the morning, then continue to take in the morning. Would that work?

I was in the same boat as you. I just started taking a few hours earlier each day. Now I'm taking in the morning. Sadly I'm still experiencing insomnia into week 5 of 50mg.

When I had the same issues I switched to morning. Just skip your usual evening dose, then take it in the morning. Then morning thereafter. Switching to mornings made the world if difference to my sleep. GL
