Anyone else experiencing this currently? I am really struggling and would love to speak to people who know what it's like, also to hear what has helped you if so. Thanks :)

Hey op, I don't think I ever recovered from it. My ds is almost 4 and I worry about everything but its because I didn't seek help.

Please reach out to your gp.

I did. It passed when she was around 1 and I went back to work and we were in a good routine. It's a horrible feeling. Ask your GP for some support xx

My child is not 17months, I got help off GP but dont think it will ever fully disappear. Its no longer constant but i do get several day bouts of it every few weeks

I suffered badly. Things that helped were finding a local support group of women who had PND/anxiety, citalopram and counselling. I was on meds for about a year, then was able to come off slowly and felt much more myself by the time my youngest was 18 months (though I've accepted I'm an anxious person so it will never fully go away!) I remember how awful it felt and would really encourage you to reach out and get support.

Thank you so much all of you for the advice. I'm definitely going to make a GP appointment
