Hi

Does anyone else struggle with health anxiety?

I seem to be struggling a lot at the moment. My dad was killed in a car accident in August so I'm still grieving but I'm so worried about dying and leaving my children

Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, that must’ve been a horrible shock for you. I think after something like that health anxiety is a totally normal response you have been through a lot. My Dad passed away from cancer when I was 11 and now I am nearly the age he was when he died my health anxiety is terrible especially thinking of leaving the kids. I think it’s totally normal as we went many to protect them and we also worry for our own health after a shock. Maybe some counselling in time might help if the anxiety gets too much. I'm in the midst of terrible health anxiety and I know it's triggered by us losing a loved one. My son died 7 years ago and I've never been the same it's exhausting x

I am so sorry to hear this Dawn. It's so hard isn't it. I have never felt grief like this and it sets off my anxiety terrible. I really struggle with the thoughts that I have cancer.

Me too and not a specific one just any. It's controlling my life and I'm absolutely miserable x
